Hi, I'm Louise and I have been involved with Monkey Music since January 1999. I originally chose to run a Monkey Music area because I could use my teaching experience combined with my love of music. At one time I wanted to be a professional singer, but that’s another story. Monkey Music also suited me because I could organise work around the needs of my family rather than the other way round. I have a lovely daughter who went to Monkey Music at Forest Hill. Isabella has really benefited from her introduction to music and is now playing the piano and loves singing in her school choir. My son, Elliot, has also been right through Monkey Music and is now taking a serious interest in playing drums with his dad in my office!Our incredibly multi-talented teachers have all worked with children before. Sarah is very popular with the parents at The Contact Centre. She has a strong musical and artistic background and is a qualified teacher. Laura is a singer-songwriter who has also worked for many years in Italy, teaching very young children English. Jaspreet has a degree in Music and, when not teaching Monkey music, is working as a vocal coach with young people. Katie, who also teaches Monkey Music in Putney, continues into the afternoons as a ballet teacher. During term time, Julie, our administrator, will be in the office on Tuesdays from 9am to 1pm and on Thursdays 9am to 3pm to take your calls. I can often be found in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays during school hours if you would like to speak to me personally. During the school holidays, Julie and I will be in the office less, but we will regularly attend to the answerphone and emails as your calls are important to us!
