Welcome to Edinburgh Comely Bank, Murrayfield and Corstorphine.
My name is Rachel and I run classes in the north of the city. Monkey Music was first introduced to me in 2006 when my daughter was just 3 months old and we were hooked from our very first trial session. The classes were great fun with lots of laughter and encouragement from our teacher who sang original songs that were not only catchy but were easily learnt and within a few visits I found that we could sing the songs at home, making the whole experience far more than just a weekly visit to see Monkey. The effort that was put into getting to know the children, the curriculum and overall experience was so inspiring that I knew it was something I would love to be involved in.
Monkey Music is a fantastic opportunity for children of all ages (they are never too young), not only in a musical sense but it also helps to stretch their imagination and allows them the ability to explore and create music in a very special environment.

Monkey returns to the FRINGE @ The Kidzone at the Pleasance Courtyard - 4 - 28 August 2010
Back by popular demand, we will be running a variety of exciting and fun-filled workshops for babies and pre-school children at the Kidzone on the Green. Combining a variety of songs, rhymes, games with LOTS of music and percussion instruments, we will ensure that each and every child has a wonderful time!

NEWS
We are delighted to be joined by a new teacher this term, Helen Balfry. Helen has been attending MM classes with her 2 children for a number of years and is a very welcome addition to the team. Jo Rowan is also a new addition in the office and will be available to answer any questions or queries.
