Hello and a huge welcome to Monkey Music Exeter. My name is Daniele Coombe and I am thrilled to be offering Monkey Music classes in my home city of Exeter and the surrounding area. I am a West End musical theatre actress and mother to my wonderful 9-year-old son, Louis. I am currently appearing in the 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' The Musical at The Palace Theatre with Jason Donovan and have recently appeared in 'The Sound of Music’ at the London Palladium. I have performed in many West End musicals over the past 15 years including; ‘Sunset Boulevard’ with John Barrowman, ‘Oliver’ with Jim Dale and Robert Lindsay, ‘My Fair Lady’ with Jonathon Pryce and Denis Waterman and ‘Acorn Antiques’ with Victoria Wood and Julie Walters’. My Monkey Music story began when my son was 6 months old. Being musical myself, I wanted to expose him to music from an early age. I found a local Monkey Music class and he absolutely adored it and I was amazed at the results. When a friend later offered me the chance to train as a Monkey Music teacher I jumped at the chance, and have now been teaching in London whilst performing for 6 years. It was after speaking to family and friends in my real home of Exeter, that I found a huge void in pre-school classes and decided to give something back to the community that set me off on my musical journey; hence Monkey Music Exeter. Alongside me are three wonderful teachers, Jo Brodie is a local performer and has the added benefit of also being a nursery nurse teacher and Mummy! Her boundless energy and wonderful nature make her the perfect Monkey Music teacher and the children adore her to the point of obsession! Abi Sciberras is a successful local performer with her own cabaret and she is also a children's entertainer. She has a fabulous sense of humour and she has proved extremely popular with children and grown-ups alike. Last but by no means least, we have the fabulous Sonja Lincoln. Sonja is a successful performer in her own right, as well as teaching dance and theatre to children across the length and breadth of the West Country. Her infectious personality and experience of teaching young children make her an ideal Monkey Music teacher. Why not come and try one of our fabulous sessions for yourself. Please have a look at the timetable and give me a buzz to book your little one into a complimentary class. As I have had such wonderful response so far, more classes are definitely planned so watch this space. You and your little monkey will be pleased you did.
Please ensure that you have booked your class before attending!
