Hello and a warm welcome to Monkey Music in Southampton.
My name is Marie and I have lived in Southampton since 2003. Prior to this, I taught Monkey Music for Bronwen Jones in Wimbledon, which was a fantastic way to gain the experience needed to set up new classes here in Southampton. I have always enjoyed music and learnt the Cello and Piano from a young age, eventually gaining a degree in music from Bangor University in North Wales. After my university days, I continued to teach Cello and Piano before becoming involved with Monkey Music. I have three daughters, Daisy, Aurelia and Persephone, who all love singing along and playing the Monkey Music instruments.
It is always lovely to see little monkeys enjoying their music and making friends (mums as well)! To book your complimentary class, please give me a call on 0845 5192217 and we look forward to meeting you.

What's on 4 Little Ones Awards
THANK YOU to everyone who voted for us in these awards. Monkey Music is the only children's activity class across the UK to be a finalist in every national category! Monkey Music was voted 'Best National Pre-Schooler Development Activity 2010' by parents across the UK!

We are thrilled to have a new teacher joining us in Southampton next term! Sam Taylor-Martin is an experienced teacher with a background in Musical Theatre and teaching Music and Dance. She has a beautiful voice and is now all trained up and ready to begin taking classes in September. Sam is very much looking forward to meeting you and teaching you all about Music with Monkey next term! We also have a new venue starting in September - the Nursling and Rownhams Community Centre will run on a Thursday morning.
