Welcome to Monkey Music Teddington and Twickenham.I trained at the Royal College of Music and enjoyed a varied and busy life as a double-bass player until the birth of my son, Barnaby. I quickly realised the life of a musician was not compatible with being a mum and when a friend introduced me to Monkey Music it seemed an ideal way to combine a career in music with the demands of a family. Whilst my life is now very different, watching my little monkeys starting classes as awe struck babies and progressing into confident young musicians going off to 'big school' is every bit as rewarding as playing in a symphony orchestra. Nearly eight years later, I had my daughter Phoebe and I am rediscovering the fun of attending classes with her. I remain convinced that Monkey Music is an absolute must for babies and young children, both musically and socially. The success of Monkey Music in Teddington is entirely due to the hard work and enthusiasm of our two fantastic teachers, Ness Rogerson and Heather Fitzgerald. Ness also runs sessions in Twickenham along with the wonderfully talented Lynn West. Please have a look at the timetable below and give us a call if you would like to try a complimentary class.
