Welcome to Monkey Music in Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks.
I started teaching with Monkey Music in January 2002, in South London.
Before that I was a Social Worker for many years. I've always enjoyed working with people, but was also looking for a way to express my neglected creative talents and my love of singing and music. What could be more rewarding, and a greater privilege, than encouraging the musical and social development of young children in a fun-filled, lively environment?
In September 2003, I started classes in this part of Kent and am enjoying the challenge of running my own area.
Please check the timetable below for a session near you. I look forward to hearing from you to arrange your complimentary class.

Alison was recently nominated by local mums for a prestigious national award. She has been shortlisted in the category "Most Outstanding Activity Leader for the Under 5s" in the 'What's On 4 Little Ones' awards which celebrate the best activities for young children across the UK.
"I'm really chuffed that local parents have nominated me for this award," says Alison, "Monkey Music offers a fantastic introduction to music-making for small children and it is such fun for them and their parents. The whole experience is something that the family can remmber and cherish for many, many years to come."
Musician and local mum, Louise Sanders, has brought both her children to Monkey Music and says, "I have tried quite a few of the different music classes, but Monkey Music is by far the best - and I am quite picky!"
Monkey Music has also been nominated for two national awards - "Best National Baby & Toddler Development Activity (Newborn to 2 years)" and "Best National PreSchooler Development Activity (2-5 years)". Votes are being counted until 30th April. Please visit www.whatson4littleones.co.uk/awards.asp to vote for Alison and for Monkey Music.
