Monkey Music named as the UK's 'Best National Pre-Schooler Development Activity'

We are delighted to announce that Monkey Music have won the Best National Pre-Schooler Development Activity award in the prestigious 'What's on 4 Little Ones' awards 2010.

Recognising the very best children's activities held across the UK, the 'What's on 4 Little Ones' awards announced their winners at the Brighton Baby show.

Winners were voted for by parents and carers across the UK.  Angie Coates, Monkey Music's founder and Managing Director, said "On behalf of everyone at Monkey Music, I'd like to say a huge thank you to all our parents and carers for voting for us.  As a team of specially trained Monkey Music teachers, we take great pleasure in working with you and your amazing children and this award makes us very happy!"

We were also delighted that Jayne Harris, who is principal of Monkey Music Chelsea and Westminster, also reached the finals of the same competition for Most Outstanding Activity Leader.

Five other Monkey Music franchisees were also nominated for this award, which is a tremendous accolade for all their hard work and dedication to the families attending their classes.

Alison Norman - Kent

Elen Mon Wayne - Buckinghamshire

Kathryn Burrows - Middlesex

Rebecca Maskell - South London

Tonya Babb - North London

Here are just some of the lovely comments by parents who nominated us:

"The classes are well thought out to stimulate, entertain and educate children".

"The highlight of our week, we spend the other 6 days singing all the songs".

"We have been going to these classes since my 2 year old was 4 months old.  His concentration and listening skills are highly developed as a result of the high quality and structured teaching that he experiences.  He maintains a rhythm and beat already which are key skills for his future learning.  In fact we value the classes so much that, as a part time teacher myself, I arrange my working week so that we can continue with the same teacher!".
