We've been experiencing the 'steady beat' in so many ways in our classes this week! From clapping and patting, to marching and jumping, using our boomwhackers and even bouncing our fishes around in the river. It's such an important concept for little ones, not just as they develop as musicians, but also to support speech, communication, co-ordination, understanding patterns, developing a sense of time - the list goes on!
