Hello to all of our gorgeous Monkey families. It’s been a strange few months and no mistake but we are absolutely delighted that so many children have been getting a dose of normality and enjoying their Monkey Music classes at home. Our pre-recorded online classes are a huge success and we’ve had some lovely feedback.
The beauty of the class being recorded lies in the fact that if your little one “doesn’t feel like it” at a certain time of day, you can enjoy singing, playing and dancing with Karen and Monkey whenever you fancy. Also, if you prefer to do the class in two or more segments over the day – that can work too.
Some of our customers are playing the class several times over the week which is just brilliant to hear.
Dig around in your toy box and find any shaky instruments, drums, tambourines that you have or improvise with pans, spoons and home made shakers (an empty fabric conditioner bottle full of dried pulses makes a LOVELY loud sound – make sure it’s safe though!).
For the next few weeks, we will be singing lots of Summertime and Seaside songs and so if you can’t get to an actual beach, we can pretend and make our own at home!
Head Office are busy busy busy up in Harpenden making plans for our return to face to face classes – only when it is absolutely safe and right to do so of course! We will be in touch as soon as we have news.
Summer Workshops will be available to book in the coming weeks so look out for those.
