Our Jiggety-Jig classes are specifically tailored to 2 and 3 year olds. The class encourages your little one to grow in confidence, developing their sense of rhythm, interacting with the teacher and each other and using their own initiative to move and play along to the music.
We encourage sharing, taking turns, and waiting for their turn - all brilliant for developing social skills and interaction. We learn and play more sophisticated rhythms on our real musical instruments (no toys!) and encourage refined listening and responding, whilst continuing work on fine and gross motor skills.
The children learn to identify instruments by sound alone, and enjoy playing as part of a group or as a soloist! We continue our work on dynamics (loud and quiet), rests, musical pitch and tempo.
Creative development is enhanced through role play songs!
