Read more...As a Monkey Music mum, I have experienced that an engaging musical environment can greatly contribute to a child's cognitive and sensory development and my children love it! As a musician and mother of two boys, I am devoted to delivering a magical, musical adventure for your little ones to thrive in. Our action packed classes are a great opportunity for your babies and toddlers to have fun while learning, singing and dancing.
Join the fun!
Babies and children love songs, rhythms and music and, like adults, greatly benefit from a musical environment. Our classes are set across four progressive stages, tailored specifically to the needs of babies, toddlers and pre-school children aged between 3 months and 4 years of age. Classes are intentionally 30 minutes long and children are grouped in small classes according to age. Each class is designed with original songs, as well as traditional nursery rhymes for everyone to join in the fun.
Rock’n’Roll - 3 months to rising 12 months
Music has a diverse positive effect on babies, encouraging their development both mentally and physically. Our Rock’n’Roll class can stimulate the pathways responsible for many skills, such as creativity and spatial intelligence. It is also a gentle bonding exercise for carer and child.
Heigh-Ho - from 12 months
With developing language skills, walking, and the ability to pay attention for longer, this age group are more engaged with music than infants. The up-beat and entertaining music in our Heigh-Ho class is taught at a fast pace to captivate the attention of the young audience. In this class, toddlers’ vocalisations will change from being monotone to including high and low notes. Rhythmically, they will often dance and play instruments with a strong sense of beat.
Jiggety-Jig - 2 + 3 year olds
At this age, children will begin to sing unaccompanied and create music without musical support. Our Jiggerty-Jig class will teach your child to hear and understand music when the sound is not physically present. It’s an opportunity for your toddler to have fun with their friends and develop a strong musical foundation for their future learning.
Ding-Dong - 3 + 4 year olds
At this age, children have begun to sing in tune and move in time to music. Our Ding-Dong class will teach your child to read music, sing with accurate pitch and play a wide range of rhythm instruments. But most importantly, have fun with the friends they have made over the last four years.
Award winning classes for everyone!
Established in 1993, Monkey Music has gained a reputation for standing out and has won numerous awards including Best National Pre-Schooler Development Activity, Best National Toddler Development Class, and Best London kids’ class. It’s a class loved by both children and carers; and as a huge Monkey Music fan, I have made just as many friendships as my children over the last couple of years. It’s an opportunity for children to listen to their teacher, make new friends and share precious time together. They are honing a whole host of new skills which support all aspects of their future development.
About Faye
Music is my passion and I have enjoyed playing and listening to music from a young age. I am classically trained in the piano, violin and voice and my appetite for performing flourished during my early years. I continued to study music throughout my education, including my degree when I began a long career as a DJ in clubs across Central and West London and also started performing in various cover bands. Following further education in law and a long career in global construction, I am delighted to be able to bring Monkey Music to Ealing and Acton. Also from West London, I am very excited to offer classes in the area in which I grew up. I have two sons and attend Monkey Music with both children, who love the classes. I enjoy singing with them and teaching them how to play various instruments. My teaching style perfectly blends my personality with the entertaining and educational foundations of Monkey Music. I thrive on the fact that I will make a difference to children by supporting their early development.

I cannot recommend Faye highly enough - she is a woman with many talents. Our daughter had the best time at her party and we loved the violin too.
