Monkey Music’s founder, Angie Coates, has been privileged to witness the transformative power of music for over three decades. Her journey began with a passion for music and teaching, along with a dream to create something meaningful for young families in her local community.

Angie's vision for a magical musical world soon resonated with hundreds of like-minded businesswomen, their talented teachers, and her dedicated support team at Monkey Music Head Office. To date, over a million babies and toddlers have attended Monkey Music classes across the UK, a testament to the shared passion of everyone at Monkey Music. 

Juggling busy careers with equally busy home lives is a common theme among the women at Monkey Music and through kindness and being supportive of each other, they find balance in pursuing fulfilling careers while prioritising their family commitments — a true demonstration of their strength and resilience.

The spirit of International Women's Day extends beyond the Monkey Music team to the families who join us at classes each week. From new parents to working mums, carers, grandmothers, aunties and sisters, they all they all understand the fundamental role that music plays in early education and share their precious time together with us at Monkey Music.

As both a business owner and mother to five unique daughters, Angie can say with confidence that every day is International Women’s Day at Monkey Music!
