Monkey Music Celebrated its 30th Birthday and raised over £32,000 for charity partner Nordoff and Robbins
Monkey Music celebrated 30 years in 2023. Our very first classes opened in London in 1993 and were taught by our founder and CEO, Angie Coates. Today, Monkey Music is widely recognised as the leading light in pre-school music education across the UK and Monkey Music teachers have delivered an astonishing 3 million hours of classes!
To celebrate the birthday year, we thanked our customers for their support by hosting Monkey's 30th Birthday Parties throughout the year and raised over £32,000 for our charity partner, Nordoff and Robbins.
As the UK’s largest music therapy charity, Nordoff and Robbins use music to enrich the lives of people with life-limiting illness, disabilities or feelings of isolation. Their mission is to provide music therapy to anyone whose quality of life could be improved by it.
"Music therapy is a recognised health and therapeutic intervention. Our therapists are highly skilled musicians and are trained to an exceptional standard. They work with children and adults of all ages from our locations across the UK including Scotland, Wales, Manchester, Newcastle and London.
