Monkey Chatter

Hi all,

It's been a while since I've posted but we have just been so busy having fun in our classes and birthday parties that time has run away with us!

At the moment Monkey, Mo and I are having a well earned rest after such an exciting first half term. We explored animals with our babies and listened to some magical sounds to represent the weather with our Heigh-Ho toddlersa. We were also very grateful that the actual weather caught up with us as term progressed as it was a little odd singing about rain and thunder in 30 degree heat!!  For our older 2-3 students we were learning all about opposites, the children explored this with our instruments by playing loudly and quietly, quickly and slowly and using short and long sounds. Our 3-4 yr olds learned all about the String family, coloured some amazing pictures for Monkey and even got the chance to play a real violin!

We are really looking forward to seeing everyone back after the half term break and in the run up to Christmas. There will be lots of Christmas themed songs and activities for all ages. I found my jingle bells the other day and am looking forward to having lots of fun sharing them with you with our themes of Baby's first Christmas and Toys as well as Night and Day for our 2-3 yr olds and the Woodwind Family for our 3-4 Ding-Dong students.

We still have 7 weeks left this term and our flexible monthly booking means you can join us at any time. So book your first free class today!

In wider Monkey Music news we have launched a brand new experience for tiny babies called A Beautful Noise. This is being rolled out in stages across the country so watch this space for my local launch date which will be some time in the new year. To hear more about it check out the national blog here.

Enjoy the rest of your half term and we'll hopefully be having fun in class together soon!
