Monkey Chatter

We kicked off our first week of classes with our lovely regular families and lots of new ones! And what also happened? It was Monkey Music Tower Bridge and Southwark first anniversary! It was a pleasure to celebrate it with some of our families who have been with us since day one! Let’s look back on some of their stories:

• One of our first clients is a gorgeous boy who started attending our classes as a baby. He developed so quickly that has gone through Heigh-Ho and is now pretty much already in our Jiggety-Jig class! I would like to say it is all merits to us but we give it to his doting parents. Every time they are in our class, they are so attentive to encourage him in the right way, that is certainly one of our wonder children! 
• A dad brought his son to a trial session with his two-year-old whilst the mother was in labour. The following week she was already attending the sessions with her baby and toddler! The baby is now one and has skipped the Rock’n’Roll class because he has tagged along in his older brother’s session! It is a joy to see them bonding during our class. 
• Before we launched our classes, Eve handled a leaflet to a pregnant lady who lived near one of the venues. She held on to it and as soon as her baby turned 3-months-old, she was in our class! Her baby is just about to turn one and is now moving up to our Heigh-Ho class! How lucky is Eve to meet one of children from the bump?!
• We had a mother bringing her son for the first six months of her maternity leave and a father bringing the baby for the other six months! We are about to sing happy birthday to him during our session and move him up to the Heigh-Ho class too!
• A mother confirmed that after her daughter’s first session she had her best nap ever! She has now moved up to our Jiggety-Jig class and continue happily napping after the class. Oh she and she now has a "pet" Monkey who goes with her everywhere! 
• A childminder used to bring twin brothers to our Heigh-Ho class but they moved away. As she continued in the area and enjoyed our classes so much, she is now bringing her new client, a lovely baby!
• A mother used to attend our classes with her baby at our Wapping venue. Once her baby tuned one, she had to go back to work. She made sure to keep her Fridays off, even if that meant she would need to walk from Wapping to Bermondsey in order to continue attending our Heigh-Ho sessions! We love our commited families!
