With the summer holidays now ended, many of us will be finding a new routine for our work and families.

When our founder, Angie Coates, had her first baby nearly 30 years ago, she quickly found out how difficult it can be to spend precious time with your children whilst juggling other commitments.

The constant demands of working and looking after a family, often meant that the time Angie did find for being with her baby was overshadowed by a huge to-do list.  To get around this problem and to give her focused attention and energy to her baby,  Angie, started her Monkey Music classes. Ever since those early days, at the very heart of every Monkey Music experience, is the belief in the value of the precious time that we spend with our children, especially, in those very early years when parents and carers are such vital role models.
