Well here we are, almost 2 months into 2023 already and it’s been such a fun term so far.
Our babies have been learning about their faces and enjoying songs about daily life that their grown ups can sing all week long.
In Heigh-Ho, the 1 year olds have been enjoying activities all about Transport and Animal Sounds.
Jiggety-Jig for 2 and 3 year olds has been all about Pretending and Baby Animals.
Our “top set” in Ding-Dong, those 3 and 4 year olds are SO clever learning all about orchestral instruments – you should have seen them all trying to blow a trombone.
We are ridiculously excited about Monkey’s 30th Birthday this year so look out for news coming soon about our fundraising Birthday Party events to raise money for the wonderful music therapy charity, Nordoff Robbins (www.nordoff-robbins.org.uk) – we’ve been planning some brilliant fun for everyone and hope you all enjoy helping us to raise lots of money for them.
Regular customers have all received a Birthday Card from Monkey and have been uploading photographs of them and their little ones holding their card to our Fundraising Pages in the online Monkey Music Club to win some pretty cool prizes. Have you done yours yet? Make sure to take part so you are in with a chance!
The end of term is Friday 31 March and then we have two mornings of special Easter Themed Workshops happening.
TUESDAY 4 APRIL – ST MARY’S, LONG DITTON
WEDNESDAY 5 APRIL – SWINNERTON HALL, KINGSTON
Each morning will have two sessions, 10am for Walkers to 5 years and 11am for Babies to Crawlers.
Monkey has asked his Cute Animal Friends to come along and there will be Bouncing Easter Eggs, Springtime Songs and Easter Bunny Ears – look out for the Springtime Themed Photo Wall where you can record some special memories on the day.
With thoughts already turning to the Summer Term, we will soon be talking to our regular customers about their plans, moving children who are having birthdays soon up to the next class (great excitement!), making sure everyone has their place going forwards and then we open bookings to new families for April onwards.
