Meet Aine Cook!

Meet Aine Cook! Aine is the new franchisee of Monkey Music Potters Bar and Enfield:

"My Monkey Music journey began when my son, Alfie, was 4 months old and I was looking for a music class to take him to. After our very first class, I knew it was something we would both really enjoy.

I was so impressed by the quality of the teaching and to watch Alfie develop musically, physically, socially and in so many other aspects has been a joy.

I grew up playing the violin and piano, have sung in numerous choirs and performed in many amateur theatre productions. I studied Performing Arts at The University of Winchester and have grade 8 singing.

Music, drama, singing and performing have played a central role in my life and when the opportunity to start teaching Monkey Music classes came along, it was one I couldn’t miss. It has been a privilege to be part of the musical journeys of so many babies and young children. I am absolutely delighted to now be running the classes myself.

Our classes are perfectly paced and are deliberately small in size so that each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Through each stage of the curriculum, the structure of the classes remains the same and each class has its own signature song which provides familiarity and encourages the children and carers to sing along and support the progressive nature of the curriculum. All children have the opportunity to make music with their own set of instruments which are tailored to each of our age-specific classes. Why not come along to a complimentary class and see for yourself!"
