AUTUMN TERM NEWS

Monkey is sitting in the garden, sweltering in the surprise end of Summer Heatwave, looking forward so much to coming back to our classes from Monday 11 September after what seems like an endless break.

Surbiton, Kingston, Long Ditton and Thames Ditton venues are ready and set to meet families old and new as they come back to us.

Over the Summer, we’ve taken the time to update lots of our kit we take pride in offering excellent quality instruments and props to everyone who comes to class and everything is always in tip top condition.

Some new bells, maracas and rainmakers have arrived along with boxes of our lovely books which we are giving to all of our new customers this term.

We are also ordering some exciting surprises for our Autumn Activities – keep your eye out for some cute spider puppets.

Our normal timetable includes groups for babies, toddlers and preschoolers aged between 3 months and 4 years and every class is carefully crafted to suit your little one at their current stage.

Rock’n’Roll for babies from 3 months

Heigh-Ho for toddlers age 1 to 2

Jiggety-Jig for children age between 2 and 3

Ding-Dong for our 3 to 4 year old preschoolers

Last week, teachers from all over the country joined Karen (your local franchisee) and Alex (the Notting Hill franchisee) on zoom for a fun training course where we talked about ideas for the coming 13 weeks.

It won’t be long before we are thinking about our Christmas Themed classes and workshops and we have some excellent plans for twinkles, snow, jingle bells and Monkey’s Christmas Friends.

Before we get anywhere near to the Festive Season, we have a date for your diary:

SATURDAY 23 SEPTEMBER – Karen and Monkey will be at The Surbiton Festival – find us on St Andrew’s Road and come to say hello – Big Monkey will be there for photographs.
