This year, Monkey Music are thrilled to be celebrating our 30th birthday - time really does fly when you’re having fun!!

Our very first Monkey Music classes for babies and toddlers opened in London in 1993, taught by our founder and CEO, Angie Coates. Since then, our teachers have shared over 3 million hours of classes with thousands of families across the UK and Monkey Music is widely recognised as the leading light in pre-school music education!

To celebrate our birthday and to thank our Monkey Music families for their support over the last 30 years, we’ll be hosting special Monkey Music 30th Birthday Parties throughout 2023, raising money for our charity partner, Nordoff & Robbins in the process.

Nordoff & Robbins are the UK’s largest independent music therapy charity, delivering music therapy to a range of clients across the UK, including some of the most vulnerable people in society. They meet the growing need for music therapy by training music therapists and ensuring that their skills are not only maintained but developed. They research music-making and its potential to inform how they can support their clients and people in challenging situations

We’ve set ourselves a fundraising goal of £30,000 so if you can’t attend one of our fundraising parties, please consider making a donation via our JustGiving page.

In addition to our birthday parties, every child attending regular Monkey Music classes in 2023 during our celebrations will receive a special 30th Birthday Card from Monkey. We’re inviting families to send us a photo of themselves with Monkey’s birthday card to be entered into our monthly Free Prize Draw, with amazing prizes up for grabs from our wonderful family-friendly partners including JoJo Maman Bebe, Pizza Express and many more! One lucky winner will be chosen each month.
