Of course every baby is different but we suggest joining around 12 weeks for several reasons.

1. Sensory development: By the age of 3 months, babies have developed a more mature auditory system. They are better able to process and respond to music and different sounds. Music classes can stimulate their growing sensory abilities.

2. Motor development: Around 3 months, babies start gaining more control over their limbs, allowing them to make intentional movements. Baby music classes provide an opportunity for babies to engage in activities that promote motor development, such as clapping, dancing, or playing instruments.

3. Social interaction: Babies at 3 months begin to show an increased interest in social interactions and become more aware of their surroundings. Music classes provide a social environment where babies can interact with other infants and build early social skills, like taking turns, observing others, and engaging in group activities.

4. Cognitive development: Exposure to music has been linked to enhanced cognitive development in babies. From 3 months onwards, babies' brains are rapidly developing, and exposure to music can positively influence their cognitive abilities, including memory, language development, and problem-solving skills.

5. Bonding with parents: Attending baby music classes allows parents to actively participate in their child's development. The shared experience of music-making, singing, and dancing can foster a strong and special bond between parents and their babies.

It's important to note that every child is unique, and some babies may show interest and benefit from music classes earlier or later than others. Consult with a pediatrician or music educator for specific recommendations based on your baby's individual needs and development.
